As you can see, millet contains quite a bit of water, a hint of sodium, a huge amount of acidic content and phophorus plus a little fat.
This means that millet is not a good food for them to eat.
If they were to eat one or two millet pellets, then they would be fine, but it is not something that should be fed to a guinea pig puposely.
Its acidic and phosphorus content may make a guinea pig unwell if they eat it.
Seeds are never good for guinea pigs to eat due to their high acidic content.
They also usually have a high fat content, but on this occasion millet doesn’t.
So in general, seeds are a food to avoid feeding guinea pigs.
Instead, stick to feeding guinea pigs a good diet of guinea pig mix, a good hay such as meadow or timothy, backed up by regular portions of suitable veggies and fruit.
They will enjoy it a whole lot more.

We know that bell peppers are fantastic for guinea pigs. In fact they’re one of the best veggies that a guinea pig can have because of their high vitamin c content.
But there other types of peppers that exist that are very similar. They are mini sweet peppers which are ever similar to bell peppers but as the name suggests, they are smaller.
They tend to come in red, yellow, and orange colors but the other difference is that they don’t have any seeds.
They are often used in culinary dishes and are very popular both sold in supermarkets and grown in gardens worldwide.
So if we can eat them, can guinea pigs eat sweet mini peppers, and if so how much of them can they eat?
They have very similar nutritional data to bell peppers and are fine for guinea pigs to eat.
However, they can’t eat hot chili peppers as they will hurt them if eaten. So do take care which type of red pepper you do feed to your guinea pigs.

A smoothie (occasionally spelled smoothee or smoothy) is a thick beverage made from blended raw fruit or vegetables with other ingredients such as water, ice, or sweeteners. (source)
Unfortunately, they are too much for their stomachs. Smoothies are made from many fruits crushed together. They are great for humans to eat and drink, but for a guinea pig they are just too much.
They can only have a little fruit each day as most fruits are high in sugar.
So steer clear of feeding smoothies to guinea pigs, no matter how good an idea it sounds.

Can guinea pigs eat rubber?
As a food obviously no, but if they happen to nibble it they will be fine. They are more likely to try and chew it to grind their teeth on it if they find it in their cage.
However, it is not the most satisfying material for them to grind their teeth on and they would prefer something more solid such as wood or chewing and eating hay.

Sharon fruit are also called persimmons.
They are eaten fresh, dried, raw, or cooked.
When eaten fresh, they are usually eaten whole like an apple in bite-size slices and may be peeled. One way to consume ripe Sharon fruit, which may have a soft texture, is to remove the top leaf with a paring knife and scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
Riper persimmons can also be eaten by removing the top leaf, breaking the fruit in half, and eating from the inside out.
The flesh ranges from firm to mushy, and, when firm owing to being unripe, has an apple-like crunch.
They are completely inedible until they are fully ripe.
